About Tyck


Tyck is a UK-based Virtual Assistant provider, providing a range of services to businesses, their owners and executives. Services include Executive Assistance such as Inbox & Diary Management, Finance Assistance and General Administration such as research and copy-writing. 


As a remote-based service provider, following a period of training, this job allows you to be anywhere in the world. 


The Role


This role sits within our client delivery team, providing exemplary Executive Assistant support, working flexibly across a range of clients. 


To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate the highest levels of accuracy, be able to change attention between multiple clients, build strong relationships virtually and recognise your own limitations. 


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients across multiple industries with ease.

  • Set up and manage technology to drive efficiency.

  • Manage complex client diaries and schedule proactively, alerting our clients and 3rd parties of deadlines or important appointments. You must ensure clients have all the information they need within their calendar invites.

  • Facilitate inbox management by monitoring, filtering, flagging and responding to emails on behalf of clients. 

  • Research and coordinate the booking of meeting rooms, restaurant reservations, co-working spaces as required.

  • Manage facilitation of meetings such as conference calling, and ensuring required equipment is available where required.

  • Provide wider support as required such as research; business development; marketing; HR; recruitment and IT support.

About you

  • You have 5+ years of experience in Administration or Personal Assistance

  • You’re a self-motivated, ‘get-up and go-er’ with a can do attitude

  • You can adapt and communicate easily and effectively with people from a range of backgrounds, seniority levels and industries.

  • Your communication skills are top-notch, with a very high level of written and verbal English language skills, a quick-typer and an effective listener. 

  • You have a keen eye for detail and a real drive to get things right every time. 

  • Your tech-savvy and have a good working knowledge of G-Suite and other word processing softwares, emails, Slack, Asana and other project management tools. 

  • Your time management and organisational skills are second to none.

  • You are proactive and possess a real drive to want to find better ways of working for our clients. 


You must also possess a genuine interest in learning and developing new skills. In return, we’ll provide you with an environment that supports continuous learning and growth, and where no two days are the same!

How do the hours work?


We are a UK based company and therefore require you to be available during UK Working hours (Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00). 


We work with clients on an ad-hoc basis so, it there would be no guaranteed hours for this work. However, we are a rapidly growing company and we anticipate to scale your hours over a few months whilst onboarding new clients.


We track our time using Toggl Track, an online software, so you can see exactly how many hours you have worked each month. Wherever possible, we try and provide you with an expectation of how many hours a particular client will need. 


Hours are flexible, but will need to be spread over multiple days throughout the week. 


We are an inclusive company to work for and will endeavour to help support the right candidate fit this role around other commitments, such as childcare. 


What do I need?


Initially you will be self-employed, have your own computer and decent wifi. It’s imperative that you’re able to be as responsive as possible during the working week and effectively contribute to online video meetings. We would recommend that you have your own insurance but, as a freelancer, that’s your call.
